Originally founded in the late ’80s by Herb Heinz and Dale MacDonald, MAP comprised an ever-evolving cast of talented characters contributing music, technology, dance, theater, and visual design. At the core were always social commentary, business suits, and the use of live technology, with the performers controlling all sonic and visual elements from the stage. The group performed in rock clubs, theaters and festivals, and as a guerilla street troupe.
Amy sang, wrote songs, played Octapad, created art projections, and collaborated on the words and music for MAP’s one-act musicals Walk Out and The Point.
There is much MAP footage on archaic media. Stay tuned, and some will be posted here. It’s pretty wack.
